Body Double tells Maura Isles's story, It's so complex and heart breaking that you canNOT fall in love with this character. Rizzoli, too, is the consummate friend and cop and you will lumber along with this pregnant cop and worry for her throughout this book based on what is occurring in the storyline/5().

Each book in this series keeps getting better and better. Body Double is the 4th novel in the Rizzoli & Isles series (you may recognise the name from the TV show).

This book really gets into details about Mauras past as she learns that she had a /5. Im giving The Body Double a rather grudging 3 stars because: a) I appreciate what the author tried to do here and b) I did finish it. The Body Double may give readers trouble. Out of the first 30% of the book, approximately 25% is spent stuck in an apartment with one or two characters.3/5.
